A weekly Team Trivia show hosted by Meagan, with a rotation of substitute hosts.
Team Trivia games are six rounds of three general trivia questions, with answers handed in after each question. In the first three rounds the question are worth 1, 3 or 5 points each. In the second two rounds the questions are worth 2, 4 or 6 points each. There is a halftime question, usually with four answers worth 2 points each for a total of 8. On final, usually a matching or put these things in order question, teams can wager from 0 to 15 points. A perfect score is 86 points.
Plenty of parking, and there are usually between 5 and 8 teams teams of 2-8 players. A daily free answer can be found out the team trivia web address above. A halftime hint is sometimes available on Twitter @ttcarolinas. A theme for the week is available on Facebook @teamtriviaga.
The questions are written by the Team Trivia corporate office. The first half should be relatively easy for experienced players, but perfect scores are rare. It is predominantly a 20 something crowd, that tends to bet all on the final round. Winning scores usually fall in 65-75.
      Prizes are house money of 1st -$30, 2nd – $20, 3rd – $15. Money can be used on food.
Meagan is a newer host and a lot of fun. Sometimes it is difficult to hear because of the restaurant noise and echo. Outside covered and heated seating is available, but it is a long roundtrip walk to hand in answers after every question.
The Charlotte region of Team Trivia has semi-annual Regional championships for the top 15 registered teams in the region. A teams top fifteen scores are used to determine which teams qualify. Prizes at the last Regional Championship were 1st – $400, 2nd – $200, 3rd – $100 in cash. Prizes of 1st – $75, 2nd – $50, 3rd – $25 for regular season standings, and door prizes of cash and swag.
